SCS Color Challenge...

Yesterday I did my first color challenge and (wow) was it ever hard for me. The colors were pixie pink, old olive and pumpkin pie and all I could see were party colors with this combo. I don't have much in the way of supplies from stampin up just lots of there stamp sets but I do have the ink. I can't believe how many comments I got from doing this challenge ,3 pages of comments. I did add some white gel pen dots to the drink and although I was very unsure about using the white lots of folks did so I guess that was ok, so here it is my party card...

Stamps: Rubbernecker stamps
Paper: White card stock
Ink: Pixie Pink Old Olive Pumpkin pie
Extras: White gel pen, Pop dots

Copic Book ( copied from Gale's blog)

Hello, here is my copic book... I learned all about it from Gale on her blog page. She was even kind enough to put a link on her blog for the copic charts. I Thank you Bunches Gale...

Here is Gale blog: http://www.stamps-and-stitches.com/ She shows you everything even what the charts look like...

This book is made from grunge board, flower, letters, cover everything...Grunge board is really neat and it was the first time I really got to play with it...I like how my book is soft and pliable...

Enjoy your weekend everyone...

He's so sweet...

Hello everyone...I just had to get a few cards made today because it almost time to do more driving lessons. My Daughter is starting to do somewhat better out on the road... and so is this old mom. I have stopped holding my breath so much, but I'm still chewing on my bottom lip and its really starting to show I have big bite marks now!!!

I just love this little Bird Stamp from Sweet and Sassy Stamps so I just had to post another card with him...Why all of my images are called him I will never know, I guess thats just the way it it!

I first stamped bird image that I water-colored, then stamps word saying and then I used marvy ink that I brushed all over the glossy card stock. added Gina k flowers that I colored and embossed then word tag that I layered and added corners too...

He is a neat little guy and although I have seen lots of card made with this stamp My cards never seem to look like anyone else's so I hope thats a good...

Thanks Bunches for looking your comments mean so much!!!

Pretty Butterfly...

I just love this butterfly stamp its from Stamp Camp Stamps...

Details: I used watercolor pencils to color butterfly then I clean embossed. I used cuttlebug folders for the background that I went over with some stamping up ink that I layered on black paper and then layered onto card. attached butterfly wings on card with pop dots then sewed on the beads. Added layers of stamping up punches and word (sorry can't remember were word stamp came from) then clear embossed...I like the colors on the butterfly wings, ok so I went alittle overboard on the beads...but what do you think...ever wish to see a butterfly this color?

Hope everyone has a great weekend....yepeee... it's friday atlast!!!!
