This fish came from After Midnight, a stamp company that was at Heirloom Production craft show in Grapevine Texas. I stamped fish in black then I used a brush to apply some yellow ink to fish highlighting fins etc with some orange and green. I brushed on blue for background then I clear embossed. I framed out image with white, dark blue, and then black paper. My Husband just loves fish so this one was made for him.
I colored the flower tops with orange and yellow then I clear embossed. I used a stamping up circle punch for word window. For the background I used watercolor paper which I sprayed distressing ink on a cotton ball to apply. I guess I'm just a flower kind of girl...
I used stamping up square punch for my two windows, then I stamped and colored just the top part of the image. I colored with watercolor makers using a purple and a light blue then a little pink for the middle. I used a smaller square punch for bottom then added some white dew drops. I layered stamped image with dark blue border! I'm so sorry I can't remember where this stamp came from...

Now I find I can't get off this computer because I just want to learn more and more about blogging! My son who is 21 lives on his laptop ,now his old Mom knows how to do something even (he) knows nothing about.....way to go me... Sorry all, I just wanted to blow my own horn alittle bit...

Pot of weeds...

Michael strong really does some neat stuff , If you have not heard about Michael Strong go to his site or just look at my video sites on my blog and you will find him. This is what he calls a pot in weeds, mine is different then his of course, but the idea is all his.

I do love Starving Artists Fish Stamps...

I think this little puffer fish is so great...I did this card in all black and white so my fish would really pop out. What do you think? Don't you just love this little puffer fish?

I JUST LOVE THIS LILLY...

Wow I just love this lilly flower and boy have I made lots of stuff with it. Everything on this card is embossed, can you tell that I am a 3-D person, ay least thats what my neighbor keeps telling me...

STAMPS BY JUDITH...

Judith stamps can become anything if you let your imagination guide you. I really love how this flower came out and I love the color. I used copic markers and then clear embossed the flower a few times to really make it stand out. Clear embossing also helps the colors blend sometimes. I put it all together with some pop dots and added some leaves in behind.

STARVING ARTISTS STAMPS...

I just love how real all their fish stamps look and believe me when I tell you that I have a few (shhhh). Does this card remind you of the ocean? I used liquid applique for the background ,put on using a brayer. Liquid applique is really some great stuff and it comes in so many different colors. The fish and greenery are colored with watercolor markers and added to nestibilities with pop dots...
