A Painful Update....

My Dear blogging Friends As of last night I am back home with my family after the most painful and emotional 8 weeks of my life. Both of my parents have died... My Father first and my mother one week later... They were married for 56 years and I think that God planned it to happen this way for them ( only answer) because I don't think they could have lived without each other. The good thing is the last weeks of there life they lived in a hospice house and they both really suffered little to no pain. Thank you all so very much for your concern and kind words but for now my heart must grieve for the loss of beloved parents...

Hugs
Erin

I just wanted to let all of you know that I am still in Fla. , both of my parents are in two different hospitals in tampa Fla. Both with cancer. My Mother is terminal... Her cancer is just about everywhere and my Father, well he is trying to fight lung cancer and I fear he is just not strong enough to fight much or for long. I don't know when I will be back to blogging or home with my family again but if you could say some extra prayers For us I would thank you from the bottom of my heart.... Thanks for all your support I wish I had better things to share...

I could not have come at a better time for me as I have been spending the last few weeks dealing with my parents health issues.
Thats the reason I have been unable to post much, my mind is just full of worry. If things don't improve for them I will be making a trip to Fla. So my blogging friends please forgive me for awhile for my absence... I am missing all of you more then you know!!!!

Starry Eyed WT200

Today on SCS it was all about using Stars, I Had some paintable wallpaper that I could not wait to play with so I thought this would be perfect to use for this Challenge... Paintable wallpaper comes in many designs and textures and it loads of fun to play with and alter... I made my stars and background paper using this wallpaper. I sponged on marvy ink, two shades of blue to make back ground paper, For the stars I used my nesties star cutouts along with the same two blue shades with alittle added red ink, once I clear embossed the stars I got this really neat color...Pretty Pretty...

Details:
Paintable wallpaper, and a mix from scrap bucket
Ink: Marvy Ink, blues,red
Stars: nesties
extras: pop dots,clear embossing,

Thanks for stopping by:" It's so much fun to share"...

The Lion King.....

This was made by a 16 year old boy (Doug), He gave it to me as a gift this morning because he knew how much I just loved it, so I could hang it in my craft room. His drawings are just Amazing and I am so lucky he lets me look through his sketch book each and every morning before he hops out of my car for school each-day.... I thought because I love this sketch so much I would share it with all of you too...enjoy!!!!!!
